Joe Farrell Quartet The high caliber of this group - with Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette, all making waves at the time as part of Miles Davis's electric units - has given this album a reputation (particularly among those who are not especially fond of CTI) for being one of CTI's few contributions to serious jazz. As a result, it has enjoyed several releases under varying titles, with one from Germany dubbing it a "Super Session". |
